Interchange Financial Corporation decided to renovate its head office in 2019 after 20 years of operation. The office is located at Yonge and Finch intersection. We created three executive offices, a boardroom, six work stations, two washrooms, a secure wallet room, and four private customer service areas. We did a significant upgrade to their IT and security systems. The aesthetic elements of the space were the high ceiling and the use of natural bricks to draw a rustic and urban feeling. It took us three and a half to complete this job. Our challenge in this project was to keep the front customer service area operational while we were renovating the back office. We only closed their front cashiers for four days during a statutory holiday and we did the customer area renovation and fit-out within a 24 hour working schedule. This project was completed on their aggressive schedule that required substantial coordination with the client, trades, and subcontractors.
